யாமும் மாந்தரே இப்பூவுலகில்
நமக்கு வேற்றுமை
நூல் இழையில்

யாமும் அறிவோம் பூலோகத்தை
யாம் அறியாதது அணுகுமுறையை

புகழ்ந்தால் எம்மனம் புல்லரிக்காது
இகழ்ந்தால் எம்மனம் இறந்து விடாது

பொறாமை அறியா மாந்தர் யாம்
பெற்றோர் பாசம்
அறிந்தோம் யாம்

ஆகாயம் போல் அகம் எமக்கு
அன்றலர்ந்த மலர் போல்
குணம் அதற்கு

யாம் பெற்றது மன நோய் அல்ல
மானுட பாவம்
அதை தீர்க்கும் சக்தி பெற்றீர் மாந்தர் தாமே !

உலகின் முதல் மாந்தன் தோற்றம் பெற்றதாக வரலாற்று ஆய்வாளர்களால் நம்பப்படும் இடம் குமரிக்கண்டம்.

Translation:As per the researches done by the archeologists ,they believe that the first human being have to be lived in kumari kandam.

குமரிக்கண்டதில் இரண்டு தமிழ் சங்கங்கள் கட்டி தமிழ் வளர்த்தனர் திராவிடர்.

Translation:Cankams were built in kumari kandam in order to develop tamil language. (Cankams were assemblies of Tamil scholars and poets , according to traditional Tamil accounts.)

1960 ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்துமாக் கடலில் கடற்தள ஆராய்ச்சியாளர் செய்த ஆராய்ச்சியில் தமிழகத்தின் கன்னியாகுமரிக்குத் தெற்கே இரண்டு கண்டங்கள் இருந்திருப்பதைக் கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளதாகச் சொல்கிறார்கள்.

Translation: During the research conducted in 1960 by a group of archeologists it is concluded that there were two continents in the south of Kanyakumari in Tamilnadu.

இலெமரியாவை (குமரிக்கண்டம்) மனித நாகரிக தொட்டில் என்பர்.

Translation: Kumari kandam is considered as the “Cradle of human civilization”.

முதலாகக் கப்பலில் சென்று ஒலிச்சமிக்ஜை அனுப்பி உளவு செய்ததில் தென்பகுதிக் கடலடியில் நீண்ட மலைத்தொடர் ஒன்று இருப்பதைக் கண்டார்கள். .

Translation:With the help of the SONAR it is found that there was a long mountain series in the southern part of Tamilnadu.

1960-1970 ஆண்டுகளில் தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட இந்து மாக்கடல் கடற்தள வரைபடங்களில், குமரிக் கண்டத்தின் சொந்த அமைப்பு நிலை காணப்படுகிறது. அரபிக் கடலுக்குத் தெற்கில், லட்சத் தீவுகள் நீட்சியில் மாலத் தீவின் வடக்குப் பகுதியுடன் பிணைந்து, தெற்கில் சாகோஸ் ஆர்கிபிலாகோ வரை சுமார் 2000 மைல் தூரம் வரைக் குமரிக் கண்டம் இருந்திருப்பதாகத் தெரிகிறது.

Translation:As per the under sea map of Indian ocean drawn by the researchers in 1960-1970 the Lemuria or Kumari kandam was found. It was found in South to the Arabian sea, extended upto Lakshvandeep, North of the Maldives and it was extended in South upto Chagos Archipelago for more than 2000 miles.

பத்தாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பிருந்த [கி.மு.8000] பனி யுகத்தின் போது இந்து மாக்கடலில் கடல்நீர் மட்டம் குன்றிக் குமரிக் கண்டம் முழுவதும் புறத்தே தெரியும்படி மேலாக உயர்ந்திருந்தது.

Translation:Before ten thousand years (B.C 8000) i.e during the ice age , the water level of the Indian ocean decreased and the Mu (Kumari kandam) came out to the vision.
